Where can I find a comic book literary agent or agency?
Novel writers have agents who submit work to publishing companies, and can be found in guides such as Writer's Market, but I haven't found any agents or agencies who submit to comic book companies. If they exist, they're very secretive. Where would I find information on locating them? Are there any websites or directories for locating literary/creative agents that might be involved in comics or graphic novels?

I wrote a book on my computer and people told me that the next step to getting it published is to find a literary agent or a book editor. Should i trust those book editing websites where you email them the book? Does anyone know of any TRUSTWORTHY book editing companies or literary agents? please leave the companies name and details.

Can Literary Agents help with a self-published book's distribution?
I need some help finding distribution opportunities for my newly-printed self-published comic books. Is this something that certain literary agents can do, since they know the book world quite well. Or are there other types of professionals that can assist with this?
I am trying to keep this query pretty high-level at the moment, even though I have a niche product. But if anyone has knowledge of comic book distribution, outside of the traditional comic shops, I would like to hear from you.

How find which literary agent handled a particular book?
How can i find out what literary agent handled a particular book? Is there a way of doing this en masse? For example find out which agents handled a list of a dozen books? I am *NOT* looking to find a literary agent. I looking to find the specific person (agent) who handled a specific book. Perhaps a reference book of some kind that list what agents handled which books?

At what point in time should I contact a literary agent about a book project?
I am currently writing a book that I'd like to have published through traditional channels. I am disinterested in self-publishing. That said, I have heard conflicting reports on when to start contacting literary agents.
Must I have a finished project or can I complete a large bulk of it and send portions of it in with the proposal?
