Manuscript format?
|
ive wrote a childrens picture book and im formatting it into a manuscript. does anyone have experience with this? im wondering if i should start each rhyme on a new line or should i just write it paragraph style.. i feel that paragraph style takes away from the flow of it but hey whatever the editors want. any answers?

Be sure to check with the publisher you plan to submit it as they often have their own rules and regulations. I'm with you - I'd do line by line how you expect it should read. Editors scan and read fast and making it a paragraph would take away the rhythm. Good luck! << GO BACK to questions
